These are not really the same kind of product. Tally is built for the accountant. Vinfoz is built for the business day to day — and quite a few companies run both.
TallyPrime is accounting software, and it is the standard in India for good reason — your CA almost certainly knows it. Vinfoz is operations software: billing at the counter, stock, job cards, staff, branches and customers, with real double-entry accounting underneath it. The honest position is that they overlap but do not replace each other cleanly. Plenty of Vinfoz customers keep Tally for their accountant and run the business on Vinfoz.

Yes, and many of our customers do exactly that — the business runs on Vinfoz and the CA continues in Tally. Vinfoz gives your accountant the ledgers, day book, statements and GST reports they need to work from. To be straightforward with you: Vinfoz does not currently export data directly into Tally, so if your CA wants entries sitting inside Tally itself, that remains a manual step today. Please factor that in rather than discovering it later.
Honestly, it depends on how you use Tally. If Tally is where your billing, stock and day-to-day work happens, Vinfoz can replace that and give you browser and mobile access as well. If Tally is your accountant's bookkeeping and compliance tool, it is better to think of Vinfoz as running the business and Tally continuing to serve the accountant.
