Chit Software — run your chitty without a register

Lot chits and instalment schemes, collections on the field, arrears you can see at a glance — on real double-entry accounts.

Lot Chitty — 20 members
Members 20
Instalment / month ₹ 5,000
Duration 22 months
Pot per draw ₹ 1,00,000
Draws (one winner each) 20
Months with no winner 2
Total collected ₹ 22,00,000
Paid out to winners ₹ 20,00,000
Your margin ₹ 2,00,000

Vinfoz tracks every instalment and draw, and works this out for you.

It already speaks chit

No workarounds, no "use the discount field for that". The words on your bill are the words in the software.

Chitty / Kuri

Your scheme, whatever you call it locally — set it up once and the instalment dates generate themselves.

Lot chitty

A group scheme where every member pays the same and one member wins each month by draw.

Draw & winner

Record who won which instalment. One winner per month, and it will not let you assign the same month twice.

Daily / weekly

Not every scheme is monthly. Daily and weekly collection cycles are first-class, not a workaround.

Collection sheet

One screen for the whole round — mark off many members in a single pass instead of one at a time.

Arrears

Who is behind, by how much, and for how long — without turning a single page.

The register is the problem

Most chitties still run on a notebook, a collection diary and somebody's memory. That works until it doesn't.

Register & notebook

The collection agent has a diary, the office has a register, and the two are reconciled from memory at the end of the week.

Vinfoz

The agent collects on a phone and it posts straight to the office. There is one record, and it is current.

Register & notebook

Finding out who is in arrears means going through the book member by member, so you find out late — usually too late.

Vinfoz

An overdue list, a collector-wise summary and an active-portfolio view are always one click away.

Register & notebook

You know the chitty made money, but you find out how much only when it finishes — and only roughly.

Vinfoz

The profit report shows what you have realised on completed schemes and what is accruing on running ones.

Register & notebook

Ordinary accounting software has no idea what a chitty is, so each member becomes a customer and each instalment an invoice.

Vinfoz

Schemes, members, instalments and draws are real things in Vinfoz — and they still post to a proper ledger underneath.

Everything a chit company runs on

Billing, stock, customers and accounts — one system, not four.

Lot chits & instalment schemes

Run group draw chits and per-member instalment schemes side by side, in one place, with the same collection and reporting.

Daily, weekly or monthly

Pick the cycle that suits the scheme. Instalment dates and counts are generated for you from the start date.

Draws and winners

Record the winner of each instalment. The system enforces one winner per month, so the same draw can never be assigned twice.

Collection rounds

Collect from many members in one pass instead of opening each account. Built for how an agent actually works a route.

Part payments

Take whatever the member can pay today. The balance stays visible against that instalment instead of being lost.

Arrears & overdue

A live overdue list showing who is behind and by how much, so follow-up happens while it still matters.

Collector-wise summary

See what each collector brought in. Useful for paying them, and for spotting a route that is slipping.

Profit report

Realised profit on completed schemes and accruing profit on running ones — prorated by what has actually been collected.

Customer credit score

A repayment score built from the member's history across chitty and loans, so you know who to admit into the next scheme.

Real double-entry books

Every collection, payout and settlement posts to a proper ledger your auditor can follow.

Receipts & settlement

Print a receipt on collection, and settle or close a scheme early when a member wants out.

Collect from a phone

The Vinfoz Tap app puts the collection round, receipts and balances in the agent's hand, on the same live data.

More than one branch

Separate schemes and cash per branch, with a view across all of them.

Your data, isolated

Every business gets its own database — your members are never mixed with anyone else's.

A month in the scheme

From opening the chitty to knowing exactly what you made on it.

STEP 1

Open the scheme

Set the amount, the cycle and the number of members. Instalment dates generate themselves.

STEP 2

Enrol members

Add members from your customer list — their past repayment history comes with them.

STEP 3

Collect the round

The agent works the route on a phone, taking full or part payments as they come.

STEP 4

Record the draw

Mark who won this month. The payout is tracked against the scheme.

STEP 5

See what you made

Arrears, collector performance and profit are there without anyone preparing a statement.

Chit Software — questions

Does this handle auction chits with bidding and dividend?

No — and it is better you know now. Vinfoz runs lot (draw) chitties and instalment schemes, where the instalment amount is fixed and the winner is decided by draw. It does not do reverse-auction bidding, bid discounts, dividend distribution to non-prized subscribers, or foreman commission. If you run a registered auction chit under the Chit Funds Act, this is not the right fit today.

What kinds of schemes can I run?

Two kinds, side by side. A lot chitty is a group scheme where every member pays the same amount and one member wins each month by draw. An instalment scheme is per-customer, on a daily, weekly or monthly cycle, and can also be used for a personal-loan style EMI contract.

Can I run daily and weekly collections?

Yes. Daily, weekly and monthly cycles are all supported directly — the instalment schedule is generated from the cycle and start date, so nothing has to be entered by hand.

How does the draw work?

You record which member won each instalment. Vinfoz enforces one winner per instalment, so a month can never be assigned to two members by mistake, and every member's position in the scheme stays clear.

Can my agent collect on the field?

Yes. The Vinfoz Tap app on Android or iOS gives the agent the collection round, lets them take full or part payments and issue a receipt, and it posts to the same live data the office sees.

How do I know who is behind on payments?

There is an overdue report showing who is in arrears and by how much, plus a collector-wise summary and an active-portfolio view — so you find out while follow-up is still useful.

Can I see how much a chitty actually earned?

Yes. The profit report separates realised profit on completed schemes from profit accruing on running ones, prorated by what has genuinely been collected rather than what was expected.

What does it cost?

Vinfoz starts at ₹6 per day and you can start free — see the pricing page for the plan that suits a chit company.
